Engineered Delivery

Architecting the project delivery engines for an ever-changing world.

Kanon Projects Advisory

In an increasingly turbulent global energy landscape, large-scale infrastructure delivery faces unprecedented complexity. Capital projects are the frontline of the energy trilemma, yet their success hinges on absolute financial and operational predictability—the exact standard demanded by institutional shareholders and financiers.

Kanon Projects Advisory exists to enforce that predictability.

We bring decisive structural logic to incomplete, high-stakes engineering problems. By acting as the organizational architect and the precise "mesh" between competing corporate gears, we navigate complexity, build the project engine, and establish the unwavering basis for flawless execution.

Our Solutions

We provide tailored support to your Capital Projects needs; from Organisational Architecture and establishing the PMO fundamentals, to building High Performing Teams and navigating organisations through the complex problems and turbulent times that surround us in an ever changing world.

Our Team

Christopher Royle

Founder & Principal Advisor

For nearly two decades across the global energy sector, Christopher Royle’s career has been defined by navigating the critical interfaces where engineering excellence intersects with corporate and political complexity. Having served as the strategic bridge on mega-projects -including orchestrating the global organizational architecture for a 14,000-person transformation within the BP Reinvent PMO and steering a multi-billion pound, 6GW offshore wind portfolio as Deputy Project Director - he recognized a recurring failure pattern in the industry: high-stakes capital ventures routinely suffer value erosion not from a lack of technical capability, but from friction in their organizational design.

Christopher founded Kanon Projects Advisory to explicitly solve this systemic vulnerability.

As an Project Leader, Organisational Architect and Fellow of the Institution of Mechanical Engineers (FIMechE), Christopher brings a rare synthesis of capabilities to distressed, complex, or fast-tracked asset environments. He unifies high-level boardroom strategic ambition with rigorous technical oversight and the hard-won, pragmatic reality of executing complex scopes on heavy construction and operational sites globally.

An Engineer with Empathy: At the core of Kanon’s philosophy is a commitment to Human-Centric Leadership. '‘We do not view team culture or psychological safety as soft metrics; we treat them as hard, non-negotiable performance levers required to de-risk delivery, eliminate defensive reporting, and unlock high-velocity execution when navigating complex, incomplete systems’.
